PREGNANCY REVIEW:
Expectant moms who want a refresher can review relaxation
techniques and learn about changes in obstetrics. 6-8:30 p.m. June
2 (first Thursday of every even month). Fee: $10.

BABY ME:
Join other parents of babies ages 1 and younger for presentations
on various parenting topics. 1-2:30 p.m. June 3 (first and third
Fridays of each month). $1.

HELLO BABY: This
class will help prepare siblings for the birth of a new brother or
sister. 10-11:45 a.m. June 4 (first Saturday of every month). Fee:
$10.

GETTING READY FOR LABOR
AND BIRTH: Expectant parents will receive a tour and an
overview of body changes, choices for the birth experience,
relaxation techniques and pain control options. 6-8:30 p.m.
Mondays, June 6-20 (classes begin on the first Monday of each
month. Fee: $50.

PRENATAL MASSAGE:
Two-week course is taught by a licensed massage therapist who will
instruct you and your partner in massage techniques to help during
pregnancy, labor and beyond. 6-7:30 p.m. June 7 (first Tuesday of
every even month). Fee: $40.

City of Racine Health Department

IMMUNIZATION
CLINICS: The City of Racine offers immunization clinics in
the City Hall Room 4, 730 Washington Ave., on the days listed. A
$10 fee is requested for residents of the city of Racine, Elmwood
Park and Wind Point; and $15 for non-residents; however, there is
no charge if people are unable to pay. People should bring their
child’s current immunization records.

• First and third Tuesdays – 4-5:45 p.m.

• Second and fourth Wednesdays – 1:15-4 p.m.

BLOOD PRESSURE
CLINICS: The City of Racine Health Department will offer
blood pressure screening by appointment for City of Racine, Elmwood
Park and Wind Point residents. Call (262) 636-9431.

STD CLINIC: The
City of Racine Health Department offers walk-in clinics to check
for sexually-transmitted diseases. The clinic is for city residents
and offers HIV testing (if desired) and will be held in the City
Hall Room 4 (lower level). The fee is $10; however, there is no
charge if people are unable to pay. Rapid HIV testing with results
available in 15 minutes is available by appointment only during
non-clinic times, call (262) 636-9498.

SHINGLES
VACCINATIONS: People who have had chickenpox are at risk for
shingles. The risk for shingles increases as a person gets older.
Shingles is painful and can cause serious problems. There is no way
to tell who will get shingles or when it may occur. A single dose
of shingles vaccine is recommended for adults age 60 and older and
for those who have not had shingles. It is a one-time vaccination.
Fee: $235. The Kenosha Visiting Nurse Association offices are at
600 52nd St., Suite 300, Kenosha. Call (262) 656-8400 for more
information or to schedule an appointment.

notices of nonprofit fitness and health-related programs. The
